2200 block of Waltonia Drive in La Crescenta, a lap top computer and a set of golf clubs and golf bag were stolen from a home. The homeowner reported she was uncertain if she had locked her residence front door before leaving to run errands. When she returned she discovered the items had been taken sometime between 2:45 p.m. and 5 p.m.
200 block of Baptiste Way in La Cañada, a resident reported that several boxes that were to be picked up by UPS were missing when the driver arrived at her home. She had placed the boxes on her front porch, then ran to do errands. They were stolen between 10:45 a.m. and noon.
Sept. 23
1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the front passenger window was shattered and a purse was stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the YMCA parking lot between 7:30 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.
4400 block of Cornishon Avenue in La Cañada, three leaf blowers were stolen from the back of a truck belonging to the city of La Cañada between 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
Sept. 21
4500 block of Rosemont Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported her purse stolen from her home while she and her husband were watching television. According to the report, she walked into her kitchen and discovered her purse was gone. Her husband went outside to investigate and discovered her purse laying on their driveway. Cash that was in the purse at the time had been stolen. The couple said all doors were locked except for a back entrance. The incident was reported at 2:30 p.m.
4800 block of Grand Avenue in La Cañada, money and credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between Sept. 18-21.
1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the driver’s side rear passenger window was shattered and a purse and cellphone were stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the YMCA parking lot between 1:50 p.m. and 2:10 p.m.
